Welcome to the University of Nebraska at Omaha Cybersecurity Course for Farmers and Food Producers! In this course, you will learn about cybersecurity risks and threats that are impacting the food and agriculture sector in the United States. The course will cover a variety of topics that will hopefully help increase your cybersecurity awareness in relation to farm operations.
The course is divided into ten parts called modules, where you will learn about a wide range of cybersecurity topics including:
Module 1: Introduction to Cybersecurity
Module 2: Computer Networks and the Internet
Module 3: Social Engineering and Other Attacks
Module 4: Malware and Ransomware
Module 5: Computer Security Software
Module 6: Mobile Device and Wireless Security
Module 8: Responding to Incidents and Problems
Module 9: Farm and Food Cybersecurity Act
Within each module you will have videos to watch, materials to read, and a knowledge check quiz to help you assess the content you learned in the module. After you have completed the knowledge check quiz, you will move onto the next module.
